Restoring old photograph…

To demonstrate, here is a sample photograph to show the step by step process of photo restoration. This faded black and white photo shows creases and discoloration.

It’s the preview………

Step 1:

Open the selected photo to be restored and check out the problematic area and decide what you want..

Step 2 :

Create a duplicate layer…

Step 3 :

Select the cloning tool..eliminate the faulty area.to do perfect can use zooming..

Step 4:

By using cursor, take a sample of area around of crease and use this sample to cover up the crease and blend it with surroundings .

Step 5 :

Press the alt key to sample and click on the area to be sampled.

step 6 :

Resize the brush to the appropriate size for the cover up.

Step 7 :

Place the cloning tool over the crease and paint over the crease using the sampled area..

Step 8 :

Repeat the process until all problems have been covered up.use blur and sharpen filters to blend in colors and shades and also to remove noise.

Step 9 :

Save the final copy when you satisfied….
