In this tutorial I’ll teach you how to create a magnifying glass in Photoshop. Its the preview….

1. Open up a new document that’s 100×100 pixels.

With the circle tool create 2 circles, one large and one small like this picture. Go to Blending Options on the large circle and make the color #c4c4c4. Go into the Blending Options on the smaller circle, then go to Gradient Overlay and make the Linear Gradient #9ddeff and #fffff.

2. Go to the large circle layer, hold down the ctrl key and click on the white box, the circle should now be highlighted. Select the Elliptical Marquee tool, hold down the alt and draw over the selected circle leaving a it out like this picture.

3. Create a new layer and fill in the shape with the color #000000, make the opacity 16%.

4. Using the rounded rectangular tool draw a handle with the color #c7c7c7. Then with the layer selected press ctrl+t and rotate the shape. Then go into blending options, choose gradient overylay and make the opacity 44%.

5. With the same tool draw another handle with the color #3b2810. Then go into blending options, choose gradient overylay and make the opacity 44%.

6. Create a new layer to go ontop and draw a circle with the marquee tool. Fill in the color white, with the circle outline still active press on the left arrow key and move it to the left. Press delete to remove part of the circle.

8. Create a new layer, again with the marquee tool draw a shape for reflection, make the opacity to that layer 13%.

Final result:

Thanks a lot…

In this tutorial I’ll try to show how you can create a digital ant moving signature….its bit interesting…if you want to enjoy it, stay with me…it’s a simple technique to do this..so let’s try it!!

It’s the preview of the final result………

Step: 1

Create new document in Photoshop, size 200 x 150 px, transpament background.

Step: 2

In first layer, use brush tool to create a random closed path.

Step: 3

Draw an ant. I think its your choice how you can draw……

Step: 4

Hit Ctrl + T and transform the ant small and lie down the path ( you should fill light color for this path ).

Step: 5

Create new layer, Hit Ctrl + T again, and transform….

Filled the path, note : in one step, u must creat new layer

Step: 6

And now, hidden all layer by clicking on Hide icon close layer.

Change all layer to ImageReady

Step: 7

on Animation pallet, use New frame icon to creat 45 frame like this..

Step: 8

Important in frame 1, you unhide layer 1 ( have an ant )

in frame 2, layer 1 will hide again, you unhide layer 2

in frame 3, you unhide layer 3…

do the same step with 42 next frame

Animation Shot

When done, click on Play icon to preview or Save as *.gif type

Our result !!!

Thanks a lot….

In this Photoshop tutorial I’ll show you an easy way to create that old photo “sepia tone” look in just a few basic steps…..lets try it!!!

Step 1

Like many things in Photoshop, there are a great many ways to achieve this effect, but this is likely the easiest way to get there from here. So lets open the image you want to convert. I’m going to use this Egret photo I took in Costa Rica last year.

Step 2

The first thing we need to do is convert this photo to grayscale so that the sepia filter will effect the image correctly. The grayscale conversion is the source of much debate among the photo-elite with theories ranging from the use of Calculations to Channels but for this simple tutorial I’ll make it simple…

From the main menu choose Image>Mode>Grayscale and Shazam! you’ve got grayscale.

Step 3

You should now have a nice grayscale image.

Step 4

Because we are now in Grayscale mode however, Photoshop won’t allow us to add the color overlay needed to create the Sepia Tone effect, so we need to switch back to RGB color mode by choosing Image>Mode>RGB from the main menu.

Step 5

With our grayscale image now converted back to color, lets add a Sepia Photo filter by going to the main menu and choosing Image>Adjustments>Photo Filter. When the Photo Filter dialog box pops up choose Sepia from the menu, set the Density to 85% (or to what looks best to your eye), make sure that the Preserve Luminosity box is checked and press OK.

Step 6

Many old photos retain a white border outside the photo printed area. Lets add one by double clicking on the layer’s preview icon in the Layers palette and adding the following Stroke layer style.

Step 7

And here we have the final product. Great work!

Thanks a lot …

Have fun…..

This is a beginners tutorial on how to create a frosted glass effect.its a simple technique…so lets begin

Step 1

You can use any image for this tutorial. I’ve found that darker images work a little better since the frost look is already a lighter effect. This is the image I’m going to use.

Step 2 – Duplicate the layer

Once you have your image open in Photoshop, duplicate the layer. You can do this easily by clicking and dragging the background layer to the ‘create new layer’ icon at the bottom of the layer palette.

Step 3 – Set guides and copy section

Now we are going to use guides to set an area we want to apply the frost effect to. If you do not have rulers enabled, please do so in the menu by going to ‘View’ -> and check ‘Rulers’. You should now see rulers around your image. With your mouse click in the top ruler area ad drag drop into the image. It will bring a guide down where you can place it into the image. Place two guides on the image about 2-3 inches apart. Mine looks like this:

Step 4 – Selections

Now , using the guides, we are going to select a piece of the image where we want to start the effect. Grab the rectangle marquee tool in the tools palette. Make sure you are on the new layer you just created. Select the area inside the guides. If you have snaping turned on Photoshop will help snap your selection to the guides. To enable snapping in the menu go to ‘View’ -> and click ‘Snap’. With the rectangle marquee tool start from one of the corners and drag it to the opposite diagonal corner to select the entire area inside the guides. When you are done, release the mouse and press Command C (Mac) or Control C (Windows) and copy the selection. Now create a new layer in the layers palette and press Command V (Mac) or Control V (Windows) to paste the selection on the new layer. You probably won’t see anything happen, but you will see your new selection on the new layer just like the below image.

Step 5 – The frost begins

Click on the ‘create new layer’ icon in the layers palette. Now, as we did in the last step with the rectangle marquee selection tool, select the area inside the guides. Next, select the paint bucket tool, change the foreground color to white (#FFFFFF) and click inside the selected area to fill it with white. Press Command D (Mac) or Control D (Windows) to get rid of the marquee. Your image should now look like this:

Step 6 – Apply the frosting

Click on the layer title ‘Layer 1′ in the layers palette. In the menu go to Filter -> Blur -> Gaussian Blur. Set the radius to 4 and click OK as noted in the example below.

Now click on ‘Layer 2′ in the layers palette. In the adjustments area of the layer palette, set the opacity to 40% like below.

Step 7 – Bring the noise

Now with ‘Layer 2′ still selected in the layers palette, in the menu, go to ‘Filter’ -> ‘Noise’ and choose ‘Add Noise’. Set the amount to 10 and click OK. This will polish off the frost look.

Final Result

That’s it. I know there are other ways to accomplish this, but this is very easy for beginners. You can use adjustment layers and masks, but I tried not to include too much in this simple tutorial.

Thanks a lot………

Hi everyone….i would like to deliver a tutorial in which you’ll learn to add depth to a two dimensional layout using simple shadows and highlights.so lets start……….

Step 1

Lets jump right in and open a new document (mine is 540×540 pixels at 72ppi).Obviously we’ll need a photo to work with so open up your photo press Command-A (PC: Ctrl-A) to Select All, then copy the photo by pressing Command-C (PC: Ctrl-C) then close the photo file to return to your newly created working document.

Press Command-V (PC: Ctrl-V) to Past the photo we just copied into the document and resize the photo if needed by pressing Command-T (PC: Ctrl-T) to invoke the Free Transform tool. Remember to hold down the shift key when resizing to constrain the proportions of your photo.

Step 2

This effect looks best when the image has a border of some kind and for this exercise we’ll use a Stroke layer style to create the border. Control-Click (PC: Right-Click) on the Photo layer and choose Blending Options from the menu to bring up the Layer Styles dialog box. Choose Stroke from the list on the left and enter the following settings. Click OK when you’re finished to commit the Layer Style.

Step 3

With the border in place it’s time to add a highlight to the photo. Command-Click (PC: Ctrl-Click) on the Photo layer’s thumbnail in the Layers palette to load the photo as a selection. Create a new layer by clicking the Add New Layer icon at the bottom of the Layers palette (I named this layer Highlight).

Press the G key to switch to the Gradient tool. Press the D key to reset the foreground and background colors to black and white, then press the X key to switch white to the foreground color in the Tools palette. From the Gradient Options bar that appears at the top of Photoshop choose the Foreground to Transparent swatch from the Gradient Picker and make sure that the Linear Gradient style is selected.

Step 4

Now lets create the highlight by clicking and dragging a the gradient from the lower right hand corner towards the center of the photo as shown below. Drop the Fill opacity of this Highlight layer to around 50%.

Don’t deselect just yet, we’ll be using this selection for a few more steps.

Step 5

Create a new layer above the Highlight layer called Shadow. With the gradient tool still selected press the X key to switch black to the foreground color and click and drag from the upper left corner of the photo towards the center to create the shadow as shown below. Lower the layers Fill opacity to around 15%.

Nope, don’t deselect yet!

Step 6

Now we’re going to create the drop shadow for our photo that will give it that “jumping off the page” effect.

Start by creating a new layer below the Photo layer called Drop Shadow. Press Option-Delte (PC: Alt-Backspace) to fill the selection with black. Of course this black rectangle won’t be visible because it’s behind the photo but we’ll take care of that in a minute.

To soften the edges of the shadow we’re going to use a Gaussian Blur. Press Command-D (PC: Ctrl-D) to deselect and then choose Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur from the main menu. For my example I’ll use a setting of 4 pixels, then click OK to commit the blur.

Step 7

All that’s left is to reshape the shadow to create the right look. We will be using the Warp feature of the Free Transform tool to accomplish this so choose Edit>Transform>Warp from the main menu to invoke the Warp function. Unlike Free Transform, the Warp function allows us to transform in all sorts of cool ways by dragging end points or any spot inside the bounding box.

Step 8

Go from corner to corner dragging the points into position and then drag the sides of the bounding box to their appropriate spots to create a look like the one below.

Step 9

Drop the fill opacity of this Drop Shadow layer to around 50% to finish off the effect.

Step 10

Add a subtle background, rotate the photo, add another… have some fun. Remember that any rotation of the photos will change the way the shadow is cast as well as the highlight and shadow layers above the photo. Keep your effect believable by being consistent in your lighting.

Thanks a lot…..

Try another one and have fun

This Photoshop tutorial can make everyone who wants to know how to create lightning in a bottle and you will be very surprised to learn how it is quickly and easy.

Before starting this tutorial go thru Google Images to find some appropriate picture of bottle to work with. Open up the picture and start with our tutorial.

Use the Pen Tool to create shape around bottle reflection as shown on my screenshot below:

After that open Paths Palette and click on Load path as a selection button on the palette bottom.

Press Ctrl+J to duplicate selected area. Then apply Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation to add some electric hue to the reflection.

Remove selection with Ctrl+D.

Now move to the next step. I would like to add glow from the bottle. Create a new layer and use Pen Tool again to create shape similar to bottle shape like on the picture below:

Open up Paths Palette again and click Load path as a selection button on the bottom and fill selection with color of #383cc6.

Go back to Layers palette. Remove selection with Select > Deselect (or press Ctrl+D). Then duplicate layer with Ctrl+J and apply Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur for copied layer:

See the result below:

Go to layer under and use Select > Load Selection to select this layer.

Then we can delete this layer, we don’t need it more. Go to copied blurred copy and press Delete button to clear selected area on this layer.

Time to add the lightning in a bottle. Create a new layer again, then use the Rectangular Marquee Tool to create selection as on my picture below:

Press D button to set up foreground and background colors as black and white. After that use the Gradient Tool to fill selection with black to white gradient.

Then apply Filter > Render > Difference Clouds:

Remove selection with Ctrl+D and invert colors by using Image > Adjustments > Invert:

Then apply Image > Adjustments > Levels to change brightness and contrast for the future lightning.

To finish off the tutorial I would like to change color of lightning. We can do this by using Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation with next parameters:

After that change blending mode to Screen for current layer. That is it for now. We are done with our tutorial. Looks very professional isn’t it?

thanks a lot…..

try another one

This tutorial is for people who are just starting out Photoshop or for the people who have been using Photoshop but don’t know how to use Layer Masks.let’ try it………..

Step 1: Introduction

The basics of Layer masks are incredibly simple but very powerful. As always we’ll go over a simple tutorial that will quickly teach you how to use Layer Mask Basics. I think that actually doing something is the best way to learn……..

This is incredibly convenient as it allows me to “draw” back in areas of my layers I may have accidentally removed earlier, as erased portions of the image are never completely deleted. Just hidden behind, well, the mask!

Step 2

In this example, I took an image of a woman holding a patch of grass and placed a miniature golfer on top. I started by using the Transformation Tool to resize and position the golfer on top of the patch of grass.

Step 3

Then, I applied a Layer Mask to this golfer layer. With the golfer layer still selected, I selected Mask Layer from the Options drop-down menu on the Layers Palette. This immediately hides the entire layer. But don’t worry, your image isn’t gone! Using the Paintbrush Tool on the Masked layer, I painted the golfer back in by simply painting in the area he was in roughly.

Step 4

Then I used the Eraser Tool on the Mask to remove the excess areas I drew back in around the golfer just as I would normally do with the Eraser Tool. The Mask came in handy immensely though, as if you went and erased a portion of the golfer and decided you later wanted to add back into the image, all you would simply have to do is take the Paintbrush and paint in over the accidentally removed portion as it remains hidden behind the mask the entire time.

Step 5

I was happy with the placement of the golfer at this stage, but in order to sit him better onto his new surface, I needed to add a shadow. I created a new layer and using the Paintbrush Tool set at 10% Hardness and 15% Alpha, I drew in the shadow across the surface for the golfer by hand.

Step 6

Next, I wanted to add some of the grass overlapping the golfer’s feet and shadow to integrate him into the scene more convincingly. I used the Lasso Selection Tool and selected the area of grass from the original image in the area covering his feet and shadows, then selected Edit > Copy, then Edit > Paste to create a new layer from with this selection. I dragged this layer to the top of the Layers Palette.

Step 7

Then I applied the Mask Layer option to this grass layer. Just as with the golfer, this immediately made the pasted grass disappear. Then using the Paintbrush Tool set at a very small size, I painted some of the grass around his feet and shadow.

Step 8

And finally, I added a bit of a blur to the woman’s head in the background to make the golfer stand out more in the image. I made a selection around the woman’s head in the original image with the Lasso Selection Tool and copied and pasted it onto a new layer. Then I selected the Blur option from the Options drop-down from the Layers Palette. I selected the Blur option from the menu and applied a Blur with the strength of 5 to both the X and Y axes, and set the Quality to High.

Final Result

thanks a lot…..

hope it will help you.have fun……

In this tutorial i will share a simple way to remove an object from its background. lets start it………

Step 1: Introduction

To remove the dog from the image let’s use the magic wand tool. Leave the tolerance level at 32 and leave the contiguous on, select any part of the background image.

Step 2: Remove other parts

Now delete this selection by pressing Ctrl X, or go to Edit>Delete. Now you can use the Freeform Selection tool to delete any other parts of the background that were not deleted.

Step 3: clean edges

Now, let’s clean up the edges around the dog by zooming in and using the eraser tool. Keep the eraser tool at a small size around 3 or 4, and set the alpha to a low value .

Step 4: Import new background

Import the new image that you would like to have as a background by selecting File>Import file

Step 5: Add a drop shadow

Now lets add a drop shadow to the dog to make it look more realistic. Select the Layers filter icon which is located at the bottom of the layers panel. Then check mark the shadow box.

Play with the settings and see which ones will work best for your image.

I decided to set the alpha to .3, quality high, inner shadow, blur x = 50, blur y = 50, color = black, angle 90, and distance 36. In addition, I also duplicated the layer and took away the inner shadow because this will add a shadow underneath the dog.

Step 6: Done

Now we have the image on a new background. Remember to keep in mind the new setting that the object is in. You will be able to notice little subtleties that you can modify or improve so that the image can look more realistic.

thanks a lot

have fun and try another one……..
